our carbon footprint
We are continuously innovating ways to improve our carbon footprint even more to support our beautiful earth, one leaf at a time.
We work closely with our suppliers to reuse and cut down on all transit materials and we work with our suppliers to ensure this is made from a sustainable source wherever possible and that it can be recycled or reused. All of our ingredients are locally & sustainably sourced from our selected handful of the best in Sussex.
To make more of a difference we have implemented some key changes to our business. We’re building a kitchen garden full of fresh herbs, veggies and more! Plus we will use our composted food scraps to feed our potted plants around us.
We’ve even been known to make our own paper for our printed menus at tastings, and pop in some wildflower seeds so these can be planted in our clients gardens.
We hire in our crockery and glassware to ensure that nothing needs to be thrown away. For straws and bits that need to be put to waste, we choose the eco-friendly disposables to ensure we are doing the best for our planet.
We take recycling very seriously. We take pride in sorting the recycling for all of our rubbish and take everything with us when we leave an event reducing the amount of materials going into landfills.
We work closely with local businesses and recycle everything we can possibly recycle. We even use a local business to come and recycle our cooking oil in the correct way and provide certificated proof of all waste recycling.
