When it comes to wedding buffets, the first thought that comes to mind is those silver trays that used to serve up meals to large groups of people…You still see them in all inclusive holiday resorts. But when we talk about wedding buffets, we like to think of them as a food feast. A display of gorgeously indulgent flavours and smells. Whether it’s a grazing table or boards of crowd pleasing classics and even fine dishes served up by chefs in front of the guests, we’ve got you covered!

We love nothing more than creating bespoke menus for weddings. Creating new ways to display them. Not only as something that stops the guests with a ‘wow’ factor, but really fits with a wedding theme. Today we are going to talk about rustic wedding buffets. A common theme within our clients requests, but we like to push things further and create something totally special and unique. We will often ask our clients for their choice of flowers, so we can incorporate that into our display. It makes all the difference making the style all come together.

We recently catered a wedding buffet for the lovely couple Charlie and Gavin at Cissbury Barns in West Sussex. The style and theme for the wedding was sharing platters, casual dining and food that you can eat standing up!

We opted for a rustic style to fit in with the decor, and created bespoke frames with tops of glass. We filled the frames with greenery to give the frames texture and depth. 

We’d recommend wedding buffets to our clients who have a tighter wedding budget or couples who want a more chilled out and relaxed wedding meal.
