Here is everything that you need to know about feeding your meat-free and dairy-free friends at an event that they’ll never forget—and neither will their taste buds!

Vegan canapés for your wedding? YES PLEASE.

Vegan canapes are a great way to start your meal. They can be as simple or complex as you want them to be. Here are some ideas for vegan canapes from some of the recent menus we’ve created for our lovely couples:

  • Vegan arancini bites
  • Fried panisse wedges with a spicy tomato salsa
  • Vegetable samosas
  • Spiced tempura tofu, dukkah hummus
  • Spicy buffalo cauliflower

We can create as many as you like, but we suggest 4 different canapés with one of each for every guest

Tasty vegan starters to start your wedding feast.

You can make a vegan starter that’s as good as any meat dish. It doesn’t have to be salads and vegetables. Here are some examples of dishes you could have:

  • Balsamic Roasted Tomato & Hummus Bruchetta
  • Mixed vegetable tempura, carrot and mango chutney
  • Crispy tofu, carrot hummus, dukkah, kohlrabi slaw
  • Pressed heritage tomato & basil, rocket pesto & bocconcini
  • Caramelised roscoff onion tart tatin, chicory & grapes

Baked Celeriac

Tasty veggie main courses

Vegan mains can be some of the most flavoursome dishes you ever try. With an abundance of our local supplier’s in-season ingredients, these are some of the tastiest you will try:

  • Avocado & cashew pesto gnocchi, chilli, spinach & rocket
  • Butternut squash, mushroom & lentil wellington, rosti potato, squash puree, braised leeks, baby carrots
  • Salt baked celeriac, hasselback potatoes, spinach, beetroot & carrot ribbons
  • Cauliflower & summer truffle, caramelised cauliflower purée, roasted & pickled cauliflower, jersey royals, sorrel

And don’t forget dessert!

Desserts are often overlooked when planning a wedding menu, but they’re an important part of the meal for guests that don’t eat meat or dairy products. The best way to ensure that every guest enjoys their dessert is by serving something sweet that everyone can enjoy together as a group.

  • Coconut mango and passionfruit fool
  • Chocolate and orange mousse
  • Summer berry crumble
  • Cake! Why not serve your cake as your dessert and save on costs? Doing this will reduce your 3-course meal to a 2-course and we will of course still serve your cake for you!

Eat what you love on your wedding day.

You can make a great meal without meat and dairy. Vegan food is healthy, delicious and often more environmentally friendly than meat or dairy-based meals.

We know that the idea of vegan wedding catering can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. If you stick with simple, fresh ingredients, your guests will love it!
