Emily & Peter Marquee Ombre Wedding

Our lovely couple, Emily & Peter filled their wedding with ombre wedding details which went from pink to lilac to purple. It was absolutely beautiful.

So if you’re thinking about taking this trend then here are some ideas for you:

#1 Ombre macaroon cake:

This was a stunner and my word did the colours punch. Instead of a traditional cake, our couple opted for a tiered macaroon tower which whole heartedly played into the colour palate.

#2 Flowers:

An abundance of beautiful blooms filled their marquee with ombre effects as the flowers went down the tables.

#3 Reception drinks & canapés:

Floral ice cubes, edible flowers and punches of colour adorned their drinks and canapés.

#4 Wedding breakfast:

This one was clever. When it came to ordering the tables napkins, our bride and groom opted for 3 colour napkins, which followed the ombre flow on each of the long stretch of tables. It looked gorgeous for their wedding breakfast set up!

Our couple opted for their third course to be served in the garden in the beautiful sunshine. They had edible flower cocktails & dessert canapés served in the gorgeous garden just as the sun was going down. Little bits of mini strawberries & cream, banoffee bites and sticky toffees.

The Planning

After sitting down with Emily & Peter, we understood their vision and bought it to life for their day. This is so important do this and when we first meet our clients, we always ask about their day, their style, themes and colour palates. Becuase it’s a very important question for us, to ensure we are delivering as much as we can, designed around their day. Not only when it comes to your menu, but also how it is served and how it looks.

Inspired you? The ombre trend has arrived, and it’s here to stay! The beauty of this trend is that it can be used in any colour palette you prefer, from pastels to bold brights. With so many options available, there’s no need for you to limit yourself when planning your ombre wedding!

Here are some lovely words from the bride, Emily:

“The food was absolutely stunning, we enjoyed every bite! I would love to be able to say a favourite but I want to list off the whole menu… we so appreciated how bespoke we could make the menu, it felt so perfect for us. And all the special touches made it so magical.

So many of our friends and family and complimented the food and raved about the canapés, mains, desserts and noodles!! Quotes such as ‘the best wedding food ever’ and ‘it felt like a restaurant, how did they do it in that tent’ are just a snapshot of what everyone has been saying to us.

Your whole team were the brilliant, but a further special thank you to Tom who was totally unflappable and made sure everything was perfect for us.”
